Growing the next generation of parasites
October 23, 2008
If the unthinkable should happen — somehow, against all odds, John McCain wins the presidential race – the Democrats would have suffered only a tiny, temporary setback. In 2012, there is another race for the White House and another 20 million new voters. These new voters will be predominantly Democratic by party affiliation and fully indoctrinated in the ‘benefits’ of a socialist economic and governmental system. In fact, the job of the Democrats will just get easier and easier as the years go by. Time is on their side. As the WWII generation disappears and Baby Boomers start to drop off in increasing numbers, what’s left of a conservative base will dwindle to an embattled, tattered minority in Generations X and Y. On the horizon, the high school class of 2012 promises to be fully versed in socialist dogma. They will be ready, willing and able to carry out whatever is demanded of them by their leaders. America as we know it could be gone.
The rest of the world will delight in this. As anxious as they are for Americans to save them when calamity strikes, the world is eager to see this country and its people taken down a notch or two. Little do they realize that America is the glue that binds the modern world. With America in steep decline, the ‘global’ economy and ‘global’ society quickly becomes a ’local’ economy and society. It’s American technology and investment that keep the world’s telecommunications, IT, commerce, capital markets and even oil production going. A socialist government would kill personal incentive and entrepreneurship. The flow of ideas, capital and personal effort would dry up.
Parasites, their champions and enablers, don’t seem to grasp this, or don’t want to know. If the rewards for hard work and personal achievement are taken away, no one will risk their time or effort just to enrich the government or its dependents. There would be no point. The economy would shrivel along with economic opportunity. This isn’t something that Democratic politicians, academia or mainstream media want Americans to know and understand. They’re serving their own ends with lies, fake science and demagoguery to mask this unpleasant truth.
It’s up to conservatives, Republican or otherwise, to make the succeeding generations understand what’s in store for them if the socialists prevail. It won’t just mean higher taxes or nationalized health care. That’s only the beginning. The government and the regulation of peoples’ lives with grow explosively. For example, in the 12 years that England’s socialist Labor Party has been in power, Parliament passed more the 1,000 ‘laws’ that allowed their government to enter any one’s home without a search warrant or even a knock at the door. The “Exotic Plant Specie Inspection Act” allow police to storm into any British citizen’s home at any time of day or night to ‘inspect’ all the homeowners’ indoor plants and confiscate unlicensed tropical orchids. Yes, in merry old England, you must pay a special tax to grow orchids in your own home. Once a country falls into socialism, the government runs wild. And, once socialism is installed, it can’t be voted out, because the government owns too much of the economy. It’s almost impossible to pry politicians and bureaucrats away from the levers of power once they’ve tasted absolute power.
Before conservatives Boomers hang up their spurs and ride off into the sunset, they are duty-bound to make amends for their liberal brethren. The Baby Boomers created the mess we’re in. They bought into the intellectual fraud perpetrated at colleges across the country in the 1960s and early 1970s. They accepted situational ethics and moral ambiguity as their behavioral standard. Bill Clinton is their role model. And they are unrepentant or too brain-damaged to know or care about the destruction they’ve visited on this country.
It will fall to the few to make good on the sins of the many. To save this country, to pass it on to future generations in the form that it was founded, conservative Boomers must involve themselves in passing on the ideals and values that made this country the wonder of the world. It can’t be phoned in. Boomers need to engage in the political process, get involved in local politics, agitate for conservative values and demand that their system of beliefs is restored to society, government and commerce. It wasn’t socialism or communism that made this country great. It was personal freedom, capitalism, free markets and a free society. Was it perfect? No, nothing is. But it’s a quantum leap beyond anything else out there, including the false religion of socialism. It’s an inescapable fact that socialist regimes have all been failures. All of them. And Boomers are compelled to make each succeeding generation to fully understand that before they leave the world stage.
